A great spot to grab lunch or dinner, walk along the San Francisco waterfront with views to the Bay Bridge and easy access to Market Street, trollys, etc. The Ferry Building boasts a wide range of restaurants, and shops/stalls of local companies including some of our favorites like Heath Ceramics, Hog Island Oyster Company (more than just oysters to be enjoyed!), the Slanted Door, Gott's Roadside Grill, Cowgirl Creamery and Blue Bottle Coffee. A short walk to many other attractions and great places to eat. Enjoy a farmers market in the square three days a week. This is a great spot to find some of the bay areas best- especially if you won't have time to make it out to wine country or Point Reyes.
A grassy 64-acre hilltop park is a popular attraction, with its hiking trails leading up to wind-swept peaks and 360-degree views of the Bay Area. We recommend sunset!
Great views of both the ocean and the Golden Gate. Bring a blanket and chill out!
Pastries by the chef mind of Thomas Keller (The French Laundry) If there is a line, don't worry, it is worth the wait! Beautiful artisan bread and pastries to drool over (chocolate-almond croissants, 'oreo's', and macaron of many flavors) Grab a pastry and a coffee and enjoy out on their patio or while strolling through downtown Yountville or through the French Laundry vegetable garden.
If you are headed to wine country, we recommend visiting some of the wineries along the Silverado Trail. Off the main (an generally super busy!) drag of Napa, many of these wineries offer great views of the valley from higher vantage points.
A beautiful drive through West Marin to the lighthouse. Stop in Point Reyes Station to enjoy cheese from Cowgirl Creamery, or head further north to Hog Island Oyster Co. for some oysters right from the ocean. Please allow at least half a day for this trip (a full day is recommended for the best time!)

Home of Cowgirl Creamery (cheese!), and charming shops, cafes, bakeries, oyster bars, etc., there is a little of everything for everyone here- stop off on your way to or from the Point Reyes Lighthouse or out to the oyster farms.
Housed in on of many old converted military facilities throughout the bay, the Headlands Art Center provides artist residencies and is located on the ocean side of the bay amid the beautiful landscape. There are many trails and outdoor areas to explore as well as the gallery and usually sculpture installations in the landscape.

Try the 'drunken crab' and the garlic noodles. Your life will never be the same.

A scale model of the entire San Francisco Bay including tides! If you are a fan of Mythbusters, you may have seen it featured on their "Escape from Alcatraz' episode. Closeby the wedding venue, and super unique to the bay.
The bar at Cavallo Point / Fort Baker is where Ariel and Bryn had their very first date. Great space, good drinks, amazing view of the Golden Gate when you explore the entire area!
One of the top sushi restaurants in the Bay area. Reservations recommended.
