At the heart of our relationship is the Gospel, the good news that has transformed our lives! Jesus Christ, God’s Son, willingly gave His life on the cross for our sins and rose again, conquering sin and death once and for all. Through Him, we are forgiven, redeemed, and made new. Marriage reflects the faithful, covenant love Christ has for His Church. Our love for one another exists because we have first been loved by Him, a love shown most clearly at the cross. As Scripture says, “But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). We are deeply grateful for the gift of marriage and pray that our union would honor God and point others to His grace through our imperfect but faithful love.
