Paved, kid friendly trail with great views at the top!
Kuli‘ou‘ou Ridge Trailhead
Slightly more challenging trail, compared to Makapu'u. It's not paved so you'll definitely need your hiking shoes! Gorgeous views at the top! It usually takes about 3-4 hours to complete.
Lanikai Beach
Voted one of Hawaii's most beautiful beaches. Great way to spend a relaxing afternoon, or if your feeling more adventurous, there are nearby kayak rental agencies where you spend a few hours paddling out to the Mokulua islands.
Lanikai Pillbox Trail
Short but steep hike with beautiful views of Lanikai beahc, Kailua and the Mokulua islands.
Ala Moana Beach Park
Great spot for the families! The water is clear and calm with wide beaches. It's right across from Ala Moana shopping center so there's plenty of food and shopping nearby.
Ala Moana Center
Enjoy shopping and dining at Hawaii's largest open air mall, located across from Ala Moana Beach Park.
Hanauma Bay

Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout
The Pali Lookout in Nu'uanu is a short drive from Honolulu, with a gorgeous view of the Ko'olau cliffs and Windward coast of the island. Be careful though, it can be quite windy!
Diamond Head Crater Trailhead
Enjoy a hike on one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world! Be sure to book your spot early, as reservations go quickly.
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa
This is a spot for all of my fellow Disney nerds visiting! Even if you choose not to stay at Aulani during your visit, it's definitely still worth a visit! You can walk the grounds, eat at one of their many restaurants or do some shopping!
Manoa Falls
Manoa Falls trail is considered a moderately challenging trail, located at the back of Manoa valley. Be sure to check the weather before you go as it has a tendency to rain, so you may need a rain jacket!
Kaimana Beach
Kaimana beach is a great, family friendly beach tucked away at the end of Waikiki, next to Kapiolani park. It's a great place if you are looking to spend a relaxing day on on the beach!

Kaka'ako is a fun and trendy spot for dining, shopping and grabbing a cocktail.
Chinatown District
Visit Hawaii's historic Chinatown District for local restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and lei stands.
Maunawili Falls
If you're looking for a fun hike through the jungle, with a beautiful water fall at the end, then look no further! Be mindful and respectful that parking is in a local neighborhood. Do not leave trash, do not be loud, and do not leave mud on their grass.
