Bryce and Sam’s story began in 2021 at Bryce’s favorite bar — which, coincidentally, was Sam’s first time ever being there. Across the room, their eyes met, and from that moment on, something just felt right. After a few endearingly awkward first dates and a Friendsgiving that brought them closer, they decided to take a trip to Florida with Bryce’s brother, Will, and his now fiancée, Emma. That trip became a turning point. Spending every day together made it clear they had found something worth holding onto. Shortly after returning home, Bryce asked Sam to be his girlfriend. A few years later, in August of 2024, he proposed at sunrise on the coast of Maine — after dragging Sam out at 4 a.m. (yes, she kept her pajamas on). It was quiet, simple, and perfectly them.
