When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 17th! After this date, we cannot guarantee a seat or food. If you miss the deadline, please still try to reach out so we can see how to best accommodate you.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our dress code is formal! We do ask that you try to look your best, but we also want you to feel your best! Ladies, you don't need to wear gowns and stilettos but feel free to take advantage of the night to dress up! And fellas, you don't need to dress in a suit and bow tie but we do ask no jeans!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As much as we love each and every one of you, unless your invitation states otherwise then we are only expecting you! Please follow what your invitation states. We did try to accommodate those with significant others, so if anything is unclear please do not hesitate to reach out!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have acquired a room block at the Home2 Suites by Hilton on N Genesee Street in Utica. Give them a call and let them know you're booking for the Moody/Wenzel Wedding for the discounted rate!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start around 5. So we do ask our guest coming to the ceremony to be there no later than 4:45 to ensure time for parking and finding a seat or place to see!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! If you didn't already state your allergy/dietary needs on your invitation, please reach out to us!

Can we take photos during the ceremony and post them on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask to keep your phones away during the ceremony, call it "Unplugged" if you will. We want our guest to enjoy the celebration and leave the pictures to our amazing photographer!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We will have parking available, but if you can carpool with other guests that would be much appreciated! The ceremony and reception are both so kindly being hosted by the grooms parents, so please respect the property as it is their home!

Is the ceremony and/or reception indoors/outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are outdoors in grass. We have a tent for the reception but the ceremony will be uncovered. So dress accordingly!
