They met in July of 2016 through a mutual friend in Houston, TX. Bryce had just graduated college and started his first job out of school, and Madison was awaiting the start of PA school in Memphis, TN. While neither of them were looking for a relationship at the time there was an instant spark and chemistry that could not be overlooked. One date led to another and before they knew it they were head over heels and committed to a long distance relationship. After 2 years, and many flights to and from Memphis, Madison graduated PA school and shortly after in January of 2019 they both got new jobs and moved to Austin together! Eager to put a ring on it, Bryce planned a trip to Lake Tahoe that May which Madison thought was just for the two of them. On the first morning upon arrival they went on a hike that led to a gorgeous overlook of Emerald Bay. Bryce got down on one knee and asked if Madison would spend the rest of her life exploring the world with him. The answer was YES!!! After squeezing each other with overwhelming joy for several seconds, out of the bushes popped Madison’s family and her best friend! SURPRISE! They hugged, laughed and celebrated all weekend and have continued to celebrate every day after.
