To boldly go where we've never gone before...

In 2015, Bryce and I first became friends when I helped run an anime club in Watertown, SD, our home town. I'd known his younger brother, Clayton, for many years but had only briefly met his older brothers, Devin and Bryce. As we were both into pop culture and huge anime nerds meeting Bryce was like reading a new volume of manga: exciting, a delight to my eyes, and a real page-turner. It didn't take long for me to see what a wonderful guy he was. This dorky guy would have a special place in my life. And before I knew it... my heart. We've spent a wonderful 7 years together. He's been my cosplay partner, fellow cat parent, anime merch collector enabler, and deepest love. This August, we'll celebrate 8 years of being together... and begin the rest of our lives as a married couple. ...To boldly go where we're never gone before. ☆
