Monterey Bay Aquarium
Bryce used to work for the aquarium as the sustainability coordinator. We have gone there many times and love seeing and learning about the different species they have. It is a great place to bring kids as well.
Adventures By The Sea
If you are interested in some site seeing and adventure in Monterey, this place is the best! They offer rentals for bicycles, E-bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards. In addition, they do offer tours of the Monterey Bay.
Sea Car Tours
This is a fun way to explore Monterey! We see people all the time driving these around with their family and they always look like they are having a great time.
Scratch Wine Tasting Room
My girls and I have gone wine tasting many times in Carmel Valley and Scratch is by far our favorite location. They have a great wine selection, ambiance, and food! The best thing about wine tasting in the valley is that there are many places to go in walking distance.
Point Lobos State Natural Reserve
We went to Point Lobos on our first date and needless to say, the rest is history. Point Lobos is a light hike and has a variety of beautiful coastline, cliffs and coastal woodlands. People usually park beside highway 1 and the large congregation of vehicles are a dead giveaway to its location.
Fishermans Wharf
Fisherman's Wharf has a good congregations of restaurants for lunch/dinner in addition to whale watching tours. If you were to take advantage and join a whale watching tour, it'd be wise to take anti-nausea medicine........ trust me.
First Awakenings
First Awakenings is a Gem in the Monterey community and has a wide variety of breakfast foods to choose from. We do recommend you get there as early as you can and or make a reservation as waits can exceed 45 minutes if you arrive without a reservation.
