Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. The dress code is dressy casual attire. Please avoid wearing black and/or white. For this time of year in Cape Town, be sure to layer with a light jacket or sweater for warmth.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are by invitation only. If you’re allowed a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation and included as an option on the RSVP form. If no plus one is mentioned, we kindly ask that you respect this decision.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be a cash bar available. Guests are not be permitted to bring in their own beverages.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We’ve chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration. We kindly ask that guests make alternative arrangements for their little ones as children under 18 are not invited to the ceremony or reception. However, you may see a few children at the ceremony in special roles. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What if I change my mind about my RSVP for the Post Wedding Brunch?

Answer

Not a problem! Please email bryceandkate2025@gmail.com to let us know your change of RSVP.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 15–20 minutes before the ceremony, which will begin promptly at 16:00. There is street parking with security guards. Please also keep in mind that it’s a Friday, so plan ahead for potential workday traffic.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that all devices be turned off during the ceremony. However, you’re welcome to take as many photos and videos as you like during the reception and throughout the rest of the celebration!

Question

Will you be live streaming your wedding?

Answer

Ideally, we will be live streaming the ceremony for those who can’t join us in person. We’re still working out the logistics, but it’s looking likely that the ceremony will be livestreamed. We’ll share more details closer to the big day!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place indoors. However, there will be a short transition period between the ceremony and reception where guests will be invited to the outdoor area to enjoy some fresh air and mingle while we reset the venue for the reception.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end?

Answer

The bride and groom are planning on leaving around 22:30.
