The facts: Bryce was a patient at a physical therapy clinic Justine worked at back in 2018. He’d recently had ankle surgery and was being treated by Justine’s co-worker, Denise, who was the wife of one of his former colleagues/friend. After that, the stories get a little twisted… His version: "She stuck a needle in my ankle and fell completely in love with me. The end". Her version: "It only took one time for me to needle his ankle before he was obsessed with me. And was always staring at my butt. What can I say...man couldn't help himself!" The truth: Unknown, but likely lies somewhere in the middle…
There is much less controversy about this story, so I (Justine) will go ahead and take the lead on this one. For background, Bryce has always been good at surprises, mostly because he’s so thoughtful, and this was no exception. It was a Friday evening. Me and two of my best friends (Katie and Denise - who would later become two of my bridesmaids) had plans to have a “girls night”. We got our nails done, drank some wine, ate some charcuterie, and gabbed away like we usually do when we’re together. Denise mentioned a wine festival at a park nearby, and we all agreed to go. Meanwhile, I’m texting Bryce the whole time (and even invited him since I know how much this man loves his wine), but of course he’s playing it cool. We drive over to the park together, and although there were no cars (or people) around, I still didn’t think anything suspicious - just thought the festival may be in a different part of the park. We get out of the car and walk over to an amphitheater where Bryce is standing by himself right in the middle. Even at that point it still took me a minute to figure out how he had already gotten to the park when I had just invited him a few minutes before…and then the lightbulb went off! I walked over to him, he said some words that neither of us remember, and got down on one knee. I said yes, then out comes Anthony (Denise’s husband and aforementioned friend of Bryce’s) who took some beautiful photos of us - as seen throughout our site :-) We hugged and thanked everyone for sharing this moment with us, and then headed off to one of our favorite restaurants to celebrate. It was an evening full of food, drinks, friends, and love!
