The wedding is cocktail attire or semi formal, so we would love to see you in your best dressed-up look! Please keep in mind the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be outdoors.

Guests may stay at another resort, however please be aware of the resort fee to enter The Zoetry St. Lucia.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

St. Lucia has two airports. Hewanorra International Airport (UVF), located in Vieux-Fort in the south, and George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU) (formerly Vigie Airport), located near Castries, the capital. Hewanorra (UVF) is the larger international airport serving long-haul flights from around the world, while George F. L. Charles (SLU) primarily handles regional flights connecting from other Caribbean islands and is closer to northern attractions. It is recommended to fly to the larger airport which is one hour taxi ride to the resort.

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

St. Lucia does have local taxis that will take you to the resort. It is a one hour ride from the larger airport. A shuttle is available for transportation from the resort to pick you up at the airport and drop you back off at the end of your stay. Please contact the Zoetry Marigot Bay directly for reservations for a shuttle after rsvp is confirmed or include in your reservation when booking.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, a valid United States passport is required to enter St. Lucia. Please make sure your passport is up to date and not expired. Passports may be obtained at your local postal office with an appointment.

Are there blocked rooms at this resort for the wedding date?

Answer

Unfortunately no, the couple was un able to block rooms for this date as it is a very popular wedding date at this resort.

When should i book my stay with the resort?

Answer

It is recommended to book as soon as possible after RSVP-ing as this resort is on the smaller side, only 125 rooms. This resort is highly desirable and is already filling up with reservations for October of 2026 as this peak season for the island.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in St. Lucia in October is around 86-87 degrees. Rain is always possible as it is at the end of hurricane season. The wedding and cocktail hour is held outdoors. The reception is outdoors as well but under a covered patio with ceiling fans.

Will food and drinks be served?

Answer

The Zoetry St. Lucia is an all inclusive resort meaning all food and drinks for the wedding, cocktail hour, and reception are included for guests staying at the resort. If you are not staying at the resort, food and drink for the wedding, cocktail hour, and reception have been taken care of by the bride and groom.

Do I need to pay the full balance immediately when I book my stay at the Zoetry Marigot Bay?

Answer

No, please reserve your room as soon as possible as this resort is getting booked up for next year at this time as this is peak season for the resort. The full payment for the stay is not due until 14 days before your arrival date, where as at that time the full payment will be deducted from the card on file for the reservation. Please be aware there is a cancelation fee if canceled one month prior to your stay.

Are all guests invited to the rehearsal dinner the night prior to the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately no, only the wedding party and select family are invited to the dinner the night prior. The resort features 7 restaurants for guests staying at the resort to dine at the night prior.

Are there any local customs I should be aware of?

Answer

When visiting St. Lucia, be aware of strict customs rules, especially regarding prohibited items like drugs and counterfeit goods, and bring cash as ATMs are not widely available. Dress respectfully by avoiding camouflage print (as it is illegal on the island) and being modest in public, and familiarize yourself with the island's tourism-focused economy by practicing responsible tourism.

We'll miss you! Please RSVP "no" by the deadline of March first so we can plan accordingly.

Is there a dress code or color to avoid?

Answer

Please avoid wearing white, ivory, or cream to allow the bride to shine in her dress. The dress code is cocktail - semi formal.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly 4:30 pm in the afternoon. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to find your seat on the seating chart and settle in.
