Question

How do I avoid altitude sickness?

Answer

Stay Properly Hydrated: Acclimatization is often accompanied by fluid loss, so you need to drink lots of fluids to remain properly hydrated (at least 3-4 quarts per day). Start hydrating the day before your flight. Don't wait until your'e in the mountains. 2. Avoid tobacco and alcohol and other depressant drugs during acclimatization, which can also lead to dehydration. During wedding celebration, try drinking water in between drinks! Rest and hydration is the treatment for altitude sickness. Remember the 7 P's: Proper Prior Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit or dress shirt and tie. Keep in mind there is a short walk on a dirt path with uneven ground, so choose footwear attire wisely.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather in July typically ranges from the highs in the 70s-80s with possible afternoon thunderstorms. Colorado weather can change at anytime and without much notice. Please know Granby Ranch has plans in place in the event of a storm rolling in.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be completely outdoors. We will ride a six min chairlift to the ceremony site where you will have great views of the continental divide. The reception will proceed immediately after. The reception will be inside and outside.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests will ride the chairlift straight to the reception area where we will be serving appetizers and beverages.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! The Granby Ranch Grill is available for you to grab a drink and meet other guests.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is available in front of the Granby Ranch lodge. Parking is free.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, however please be respectful during the ceremony so we can capture the moment. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag#ANDERSONATLAST so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
