FAQs

The Wedding Website of Devan Krider and Bryce Wilkinson
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 6th

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Welcome Party: Sitges is a casual little beach town, you can't go wrong with linen, maxi dresses, sandals, etc. Wedding: Black-tie optional, think fancy garden party! Recovery Pool Day: Swimsuits, duh!

Question

Where and when is the rehearsal?

Answer

For those in the wedding party, please plan to meet us at Casa Nova Estate by 4PM. You are responsible for arranging transportation to the villa. The bride and groom have arranged transportation from the villa to the welcome party and back (if staying in the villa). We recommend arranging an Uber from Volo eBikes, this should be about a 5-10 minute ride. Volo e-bike: Avinguda del Cami Pla, 27, 08870 Sitges, Barcelona, Spain Casa Nova: Cami de la Fita, s/n Parc Natural del Garraf, Sitges 08870

Question

How do I get to the villa?

Answer

Great question! Casa Nova is located within a national park so some Ubers may find it difficult to locate. A shuttle service will be provided the day of the wedding to transport guests from Hotel Calipolis to the villa. The bus will leave at 4:15PM.

Question

What time does the wedding start and end?

Answer

Welcome drinks will be served at 5PM, with the ceremony starting promptly at 5:30PM. There is no end time so pack your Celsius and get ready to party! (Seriously, there's no time restriction).

Question

How do I get to Sitges from the airport?

Answer

From the airport, you can easily reach Sitges by bus, taxi or car service. Bus Garraf provides a direct service from Terminal 1 at El Prat Airport to Passeig Vilanova 44 in Sitges, just a 5-minute walk from Hotel Calipolis and costs approximately €10. If you arrive at Terminal 2, there is a free shuttle service to Terminal 1. We recommend checking the schedules at https://busgarraf.cat/en/ Taxis from El Prat Airport will cost approximately €70, a private shuttle through Hotel Calipolis will cost approximately €120 per trip. This must be booked ahead of time.

Question

How do I get to Sitges from Barcelona?

Answer

If you're coming from Barcelona, the train is a good option. Start your journey at one of the main train stations (Barcelona Sants or Passeig de Gràcia), your final destination will be Sitges Station. Look for trains on the R2 Sud line. The journey from Barcelona to Sitges takes around 30 to 40 minutes, and drops you off 10-minutes from Hotel Calipolis. You can purchase your train tickets at the station or online. We recommend being aware of pickpockets while traveling on the train.

Question

How do I bop around?

Answer

Barcelona and Sitges use Cabify, Bolt and Uber. Buses and trains are also a great way to get around and save some euros, but Sitges is very walkable!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While children are invited to join us at our welcome party on the 19th, we've decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives our parent friends an opportunity to enjoy a night out together and dance the night away with us!

Question

Will there be childcare?

Answer

If your little one requires childcare, please indicate in your RSVP so we can help coordinate. We're so grateful for your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

Please indicate in your RSVP response.

Question

Spain Tips & Tricks

Answer

- Most restaurants will close in the mid to late afternoon and then reopen for dinner. This is typically around 8PM - While tipping is appreciated, it is not expected. For excellent service, 10% is appropriate - Pickpocketing can be an issue but is more prevalent in Barcelona. Make sure to keep phones and wallets in your front pockets (looking at you, Jack Krider)
