His Version: What seemed to be only an occasional run in with a childhood associate turned into much more than I would’ve ever imagined. Little did I know that the person that I would see every now and then as a child would turn into the woman I would ask to marry me. In between that time we went from children to young adults and we progressed spiritually. So as I matured spiritually I continuously prayed to Jehovah about what I wanted in a marriage mate. Even though I knew I wasn’t ready yet I knew that day would come. The very 1st time we saw each other after years of not being around each other I was starstruck. She was so beautiful. That’s the 1st time I had ever felt anything like that in my life. I was so nervous that I couldn’t even talk to her the 1st time. But eventually we started texting and talking on the phone and then what seemed to be the worst thing ever happened. We had to stop talking for a short period of time. Obviously we were way too young at the time, but soon after we started back talking again and I knew that this time things would be different and better. The more I heard her voice the more I fell in love. Everything happened so naturally and felt right. She was the person I could call when I felt I couldn’t talk to anyone else. I could tell her absolutely anything without any judgement whatsoever. She was there for me not only during bad times but we’ve made tons of memories together. We’ve shared moments and memories that will replay in my mind for a life time. Through all of that I knew she was the person that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. So I asked her to marry me. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life making memories with her. Her Version: The beginning of our story started with two kids who barely even knew each other. These kids blossomed into two young adults who were both focusing on accomplishing spiritual goals and also their careers. Who would’ve known that the love of my life was already in my life all of these years. The first time I saw Bryce after so many years I was tickled because we locked eyes but didn’t say anything to each other. I guess the nerves were taking over lol. Those brown eyes made my heart skip a beat!! In my heart I knew something was special about him. As time went on and we eventually talked and got to know each other I knew this was becoming my best friend. The person I could cry with, laugh uncontrollably with, and make some of the best memories with. The first time I needed some comfort. Bryce said “ Baby, let’s pray”. He prayed with me and asked Jehovah to give me the comfort only he could provide. And that was the very moment I knew one day he would be my husband. Here we are planning our forever together and I couldn’t be happier to start it with him and Jehovah in the center of our everlasting union!!
