What is the attire for the ceremony?

Answer

Black Tie Optional! Get fancy in your tux and gown or relax a bit more with a suit and cocktail dress! We just want you there to celebrate with us!

What is the latest COVID-19 Update?

Answer

We are monitoring the news carefully and are prepared to take every precaution necessary to make our wedding safe for our guests. Our current plans are to proceed as planned with enhanced safety measures and protocol. Should those plans change, we will notify you as soon as possible. Your safety and comfort are our utmost priority and we understand the current situation may prevent some of our loved ones from feeling comfortable or confident in celebrating with us. While we can not guarantee the risk of exposure, below you will find some helpful information regarding the steps we are taking to make the environment safer for our guests. Should you feel sick or have a fever, we ask that you please refrain from attending. We encourage our guests to follow proper social distancing protocols while celebrating with us. What safety measures will you have in place?

Answer

Ceremony- Carrollton First United Methodist Church currently requires mask wearing inside and will be enforcing social distancing measures and temperature checks. As of 9/14, the church can seat up to 225 people with the above measures in place. Should you wish to proceed directly to the reception, please plan to arrive by 6:30 pm. Reception- Our reception will take place both under a tent and in throughout the property in open air. We will have special reserved seating areas for immune compromised guests. Our wedding team and vendors have all taken enhanced health and safety measures, and we have these on file. *Please note any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance at the event.

Question

I see two separate lines for RSVP, one to the ceremony and one to the reception. How does this work?

Answer

As things continue to evolve relating to COVID, we are encouraging guest to attend only one or both portions of the wedding day based on their comfort level. The ceremony will begin and 6:00 pm and the reception will follow with a cocktail hour beginning around 6:30 pm. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
