Angelique and Bryce met for the first time at a neighborhood church in Brooklyn, October of 2018. Angelique was visiting this particular church for the first time and Bryce was on the welcome team. After a couple of months, the two remained cordial at best. Not a spark in sight. They decided to hangout, outside of church. And what began as a budding friendship quickly blossomed into something more. For the next year and a half they lived the words, "distance makes the heart grow fonder." Each of them traveling for their respective careers, unable to be in the same place for longer than 2 months at a time. Let’s not forget about COVID. And not only did their connection remain in tact, but their love grew stronger. For as much as COVID took away, it also, eventually, gave Bryce and Angelique the time together they had never quite experienced. It was in this time that Bryce could see forever was on the menu. On May 26th, 2021, Bryce surprised Angelique at a photoshoot by proposing. Teary eyed and in disbelief, Angelique said "yes." The two are overjoyed and can’t wait to be #NewlyWoods.
