Ups was just another job application, something to bring in extra money, we didn't expect anything but that. We were happily mistaken. Starting with a riddle, plenty of playful banter and non-stop conversations about The Witcher, Bryce slowly made me fall without even realizing what he was doing. One Dennys date at 3 am later, talking until the sun came up over a stack of pancakes was all it took for our connection to spark. We both realized the other was crushing hard and gladly accepted each other's affection. Between late night Zelda games, driving up mountains after work to see the stars, running and hiking every trail we could, and battling waves all along Pch, we realized adventure was calling both of us to live life to the fullest. It was this realization that gave Bryce his proposal idea; Big Bear. For my 28th birthday, we went to Big Bear, not realizing we were about to be stuck in one of the heaviest snowstorms to hit the mountain in years. Of course, that made the adventure all the more exciting. Hiking 2 miles to grab 70 lbs chains for our tires, we grabbed sleds along the way and enjoyed our situation. After our morning adventure, we decided a hike was the next thing to do, except that there was another challenge awaiting us. 3 feet of snow! Do you know what we did? Yeah, we hiked it. It was beautiful, like walking into the sky, white blankets surrounding everything. In the middle of the hike, Bryce pulls a small WHITE bag(emphasis on the white)out of his jacket pocket. He shouts Happy Birthday as he throws the bag at me. I caught it, of course, and began untying the strings that synched the bag shut. But before I could, Bryce runs up to me, grabs the bag from my hand, and throws it further. Laughing the whole time, I ran to the WHITE bag in the WHITE snow and almost didn't see it. Found it! I opened it to find the most beautiful ring I'd ever seen. With the ring in my hand, I turned to see him on his knees in the snow. "You gonna marry me or what?" Was his winning phrase. Of course I said yes!!
