Thank you to everyone for such a magical day. If you are interested in viewing the ceremony, below is the link to our Google Photo album. https://photos.app.goo.gl/aa8cjVFDjWkpiNMs5 Liz & Bryce
. I began working at Froedtert South upon graduating from Marquette's PA program in 2015, where Bryce already held a position in the Finance & Surgery department. Honestly, I'm not sure either of us could tell you exactly how we met. Bryce will tell you that he saw me from afar down a hallway and I would tell you that we met over lunch with our friend and bridesmaid, Ashly. Nonetheless, the universe hadn't aligned just yet and we remained friends for a few years. Fast forward a couple of years. I began training for the Chicago Triathlon in 2017 and lets say my dedication to my training plan left a lot to be desired. Bryce offered to start running with me so that I might actually survive the race. Our first date to Cafe Hollander (but not a "date") was prior to the Storm the Bastille 5k in Milwaukee. I spent the first mile trying to keep my dinner in my stomach, before we embarrassingly walked the remainder of the race. Less than perfect, but makes a great story! .
. I didn't see it coming, not even close. Little did I know that Bryce had picked out a ring months before and kept the secret. Once Bryce asked my parents for permission, he knew my Mom (we all know Sue...) wouldn't keep this a secret for long. We had just finished closing on our first house in December 2018 and Bryce decided it could use a little Christmas cheer. While I spent the day at work, Bryce was busy stringing lights, Christmas trees, and Polish stars up. He picked me up from work, as we had a party to attend, and told me we needed to stop by the house to grab a few things. To my surprise it was all lit up! We went inside our very empty house where our apartment sized Christmas tree was all decorated. Upon turning around, Bryce was down on one knee. In normal Liz fashion I asked "what are you doing" and when he opened the box I asked "is that for me?" Eventually I made it around to YES! .
