Where is the wedding venue?

What is a good rental car company?

Answer

Many of us have chosen to rent cars for our stay. The drive from San Jose airport is around two hours. Our wedding planner has said Economy (economtrentacar.com) is reliable and fairly priced. We also used Solid (https://www.solidcarrental.com/) when we were in San Jose last April and had a positive experience.

When should I book flights?

Answer

Our family and wedding party will be arriving on Sunday March 22nd and departing on Sunday March 29th. We would recommend looking for flights that arrive earlier in the day so that you are not driving at night. While it will be fine if you have to, driving for the first time in Costa Rica will be easier to navigate in the daytime. If you would like to group with others for a shuttle service please also plan to arrive earlier in the day. There are also Taxi services and private diver information Andrea can provide.

Can we book excursions?

We are so excited to explore Costa Rica and there are so many excursions to choose from! Stay tuned - you are welcome to book your own tours but we have options through the wedding venue to book at group rates. More info on tours and dates in the near future.
