I met Nicole and her husband, Adrian, in the hot tub of my apartment complex 6 years ago. Adrian also happened to work at Google, so one day not long after I had met them in the hot tub, I went up to Adrian's desk to vent to him about a bad breakup I was going through. He immediately invited me over to their house later that night. When I arrived, Nicole greeted me with a glass of wine and a pack of oreos and listened to me vent/cry. Mind you, I'd only known this girl for about two weeks. It was in that moment, I knew we'd be best friends forever -- because best friends are there for you in the good but also the bad. Since that time, we've spent countless nights watching the Bachelor, carved our fair share of Pumpkins for Halloween, and pampered ourselves with many mani/pedis.
Charlie Mattison

Charlie is a smart, fun loving kid. He enjoys legos, dinosaurs, and playgrounds. Joe and Charlie have been getting into trouble since 2014. Katie lovingly calls us the "Family of Three". Don't be fooled by his shyness, Charlie is a ladies man, and would love to have a dance with you! Joe is honored to have Charlie as his groomsman!
Megan Kropf

Megan has been one of my best friends since the 1st grade. We were born 6 days apart, and after my dad passed away, her family adopted me as one of their own. Megan and I were quite competitive as kids -- I remember a time we competed over who could run the fastest on the treadmill, which maybe wasn't the smartest thing to do! Anyway, regardless of our childhood competitions or bickering, we've stayed best friends for over 20 years and that speaks to the nature of our true friendship. I stood up with Megan as she married the love of her life in 2018, and I look forward to having her stand by my side as I do the same. Thanks for always being by my side through thick and thin!
Adam Berstch
Best Man
Adam and Joe met through the Flying Particles Flying Club in 2015. Adam needed flight training to earn his Commercial Pilot Certificate. Joe needed food to eat. Luckily, Joe is an excellent Flight Instructor, and Adam and his wife, Amanda, host pizza night every month. It was a win win for both of them. Since then Adam and Joe have relied on each other for advice in flying... and in life. Adam is blessed by his wife, Amanda, and their dog, Gemini. Joe is honored to have Adam as his Best Man.
Crystal Zemlin

I also met Crystal in the hot tub of my apartment complex -- it was a great place to meet new friends! I remember when we met, we were both struggling with dating in the Bay Area, which is just not a fun place for dating. Luckily for us, we both starting seeing our loves around the same time. We kept each other sane through it all and constantly texted and chatted to support one and other. I stood by her side as she married the love of her life in 2018, and I can't wait for her to stand by mine. Even though she lives in Austin now, we still keep in touch regularly, and she truly is such a treasured friend!
Ryan Brown

Joe and Ryan were roommates their freshman year of college. Be sure to ask Ryan how long Joe's hair used to be. While in college, they kept each other both in and out of trouble. After college, Joe and Ryan took several ski trips together to Vermont, Colorado, and even California! Today, Ryan is blessed by his wife, Maggie, his two kids, Tucker and Casey, and his two dogs, Dexter and Lilly. Joe is honored to have Ryan as a groomsman!
Melissa Katich

I met Melissa at the first day of Google orientation in 2014, and she has become one of my closest friends. Not only is she such a beautiful and kind person, she also is extremely smart and has served as a mentor for me through the years. She even attended UC Berkeley just like me! Even though Google keeps us quite busy, we try to always stay in touch and support each other through life's trial and tribulations. Even when we can't squeeze in an in-person girls night, we make sure to video chat frequently and support each other when needed. You're an inspiration to me, Melissa, and I'm excited to have you stand by my side as I marry the love of my life!
Shane Goodman

Shane is Joe's brother-in-law. Since joining the family, Shane and Joe have enjoyed skiing/riding together at Mount Bachelor. They have also enjoyed several vacations together to Hawaii, California, and Florida. Shane is blessed with his wife, Nicole, his two sons, TJ and Finn, and his two dogs, Chief and Bucco. Joe is honored to have Shane as his groomsman.

I met Kristen when we were on the same team at Google, and we pretty much instantly became great friends! She is a beautiful and driven person, and I'm lucky to call her my friend. We've had numerous girls nights eating yummy food, talking about boys, hiking, going shopping, etc. Google keeps us quite busy, but we do our best to stay in touch and make sure we are always supporting each other and caught up on each other's lives. I'm so lucky to have you in my life; thanks for standing by my side!
Adrian Conley

Joe met Adrian through Katie. Adrian and his wife, Nicole, had been living in the same apartment complex as Katie, where they all met while socializing at the hot tub. Since Joe joined the picture, the four of them have embarked on several adventures. Joe and Adrian quickly realized they are both car enthusiasts. Now Joe just needs Adrian to start flying lessons. Adrian and Nicole were the impromptu photographers during Joe's proposal to Katie. Adrian is blessed with his wife, Nicole, his daughter, Emilia, and his dogs, Zooey and Chloe. Joe is honored to have Adrian as a groomsman!
