Walt Disney World® Resort
Rachel grew up visiting Disney World, & anyone who knows her knows its one of her favorite places to visit! Our first big trip together was to Disney's Magic Kingdom & Hollywood Studios, and Drew has become an (almost) equal enthusiast of visiting the parks! If you're wanting to make a vacation out of your trip down for our wedding day, this is the most magical place to do it!
Jacksonville Beach
Jacksonville Beach is the main beach Rachel & her family grew up visiting as Florida natives. It's lined with tons of restaurants and shops to visit after soaking up the sun all day! Some of our favorite restaurants are: - The Oasis - Joes Crab Shack - Ritas Ice Cream & Custard - Salt Life Food Shack - Maple Street Biscuit Company
St. Augustine
St. Augustine is a beautiful and charming historic town just south of Jacksonville. Rachel grew up visiting this town for its yearly Christmas light display, numerous field trips to the fort in elementary school, and many dinner & shopping trips with friends and family. Drew & Rachel visit St. Augustine frequently in their trips to Florida, and a few of their favorite places are: - Kilwins Ice Cream - The Columbia Restaurant - Strolling St. George Street & their many shops - The beach of course!
St Johns Town Center
Drew and I love to pop over to this shopping center whenever we visit Florida! If you're in need of some retail therapy, this is the perfect place for you.
Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens
If you're looking for a well known hotspot for Art in Jacksonville, take a trip to the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens! Their gardens are beautiful and it's in a historic part of town with lots of great restaurants.
Fernandina Beach
Fernandina Beach is a beautiful small beach town with some amazing beaches, mom & pop stores and restaurants for you to explore! It is the closest beach to the venue, so if you'd like to make your trip down for our big day an extended stay, this is a perfect spot!
