It all began on a Wednesday night at The Factory Pizzeria — home of dollar beers, late-night laughs, and what our friend group affectionately called “church.” That night, between pizza slices and the kind of easy conversation that makes hours feel like minutes, Bryant casually did a reality check for lucid dreaming during their very first conversation. (Romantic, right?) Arissa didn’t know if she was dreaming, but she already knew she was smitten. And he had a cute dog... how could you say no to that? They started casually dating — emphasis on “casually.” Bryant was busy finishing his bus build and gearing up for a big road adventure, and Arissa had a one-way ticket to Kenya in her back pocket. Neither of them was looking to settle down, and both were certain life was about to pull them in different directions. But the universe had other plans. Fast forward a few months, and somehow Bryant’s bus was parked in the driveway of Arissa’s parents’ house… and he was holding a plane ticket to Kenya. Adventures that were supposed to be solo became something much better — adventures together. And now, here we are, ready for our biggest adventure yet: marriage.
