What is “Da Land”?
Answer
Over 20 acres of beautiful rural property owned by Anne’s parents, Mike and Marge. Da Land is located about an hour south of Buffalo and about 10 minutes away from Rushford Lake. The ceremony and reception areas are outdoors on a mix of grass and gravel, so please choose footwear accordingly. There are trails through the woods that guests are welcome to hike, most of which are mainly flat, but can be muddy. Maps of the area will be provided to guests upon arrival.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
NON-CAMPERS: Please arrive no later than 3:30pm CAMPERS: Arrive no later than 2:30pm to allow yourself ample time to drop off gear, park, get your campsite set up and change into your wedding outfit. You may arrive as early as 1pm to start setup.

Where do I park?
Answer
Street parking will be marked on Morrison Road and at a neighbor’s house nearby. Take advantage of our “valet” and hitch a ride to the entrance! Valet will be on site until midnight.

What should I wear?
Answer
Attire is summer-casual and forest-friendly. Polos, short-sleeved button-downs and pants. Sundresses and jumpsuits for the ladies are fine— just leave the stilettos at home! Suits, ties, ballgowns and the like are not required. This is an all-outdoor event, so please prepare for all types of weather! If you’d like to explore the entire property, we recommend bringing a change of clothes.

what shoes should i wear?
Answer
Prioritize function over fashion! Choose something comfortable that may get a little dirty. Da Land is grass, gravel, and forest floor, so high heels are not recommended. STILETTOS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE DANCE FLOOR. Guests are free to walk the trails through the woods, so bring spare pair of shoes if you’d like!

How should I get there and back?
Answer
We’re out in the boonies— Uber, Lyft and taxi services are scarce at best, so plan ahead for safe travel to and from the wedding.

Where do I stay?
Answer
All guests are welcome to camp at Da Land! If you plan to, refer to the “Camp at Da Land” tab. If camping ain’t your thing, there are a few Airbnb’s and hotels nearby; we’ve provided some resources in the “Travel & Lodging” tab. Whether you plan to stay nearby or travel home, please stay safe and plan for a sober driver!

What if it rains?

Toughen up buttercup! Hope you planned accordingly! ;) This party is happening rain or shine. If rain is in the forecast, all events will be under cover. Moving between covered areas, however, will require a rain jacket and/or an umbrella, so please keep an eye on the weather and pack accordingly.

What if I have dietary restrictions/allergies?

Let us know on your RSVP, and please be specific! Dinner will be served buffet-style and all dishes will be clearly marked.

Will you be serving alcohol?

Heck yeah! We will have a self-serve OPEN BAR with beer, wine, seltzer, cider, and batched cocktails available. Several NA options will also be available,

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
If your invitation specifically lists your child(ren)’s name(s), then yes! Due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate all guests’ children.

What time will the reception end? Is there an after party?
Answer
The reception/live band ends at 11, and the bonfire by the cabin will be burning ‘til midnight. After midnight, the party will move to “Turkey Flats”, a 5-minute walk into the woods. Bonfire, snacks, drinks, and campfire-jams galore!
