When and where is the wedding?

The wedding ceremony will take place at the Dade City Garden Club, with the reception immediately following at the same venue. To avoid confusion on the day of the wedding, we recommend confirming the location on your preferred map app before traveling. Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our celebration will be a garden party at the Dade City Garden Club in Florida this May. The ceremony will take place outdoors in the garden, followed by a reception held indoors, with additional seating available both inside and outside for guests to enjoy. Ladies, please note that while there is paved space throughout the venue, parts of the garden feature grass and mulch pathways — choose footwear that’s comfortable for walking the grounds. Photos will be taken throughout the day, so please dress nicely but comfortably — think garden chic, not black tie. Light fabrics, soft colors, and semi-formal attire are perfect for the setting.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Space and seating are limited, and we wish to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend, as additional guests cannot be accommodated.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome to join in the celebration! Please note that seating may be limited, and the Dade City Garden Club is a historic property that we kindly ask all guests to respect. For the safety of both the children and the venue, we ask that parents or guardians supervise their children at all times while on the grounds.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests limit phone use to before the ceremony begins. You’re welcome to take photos and videos upon arrival and during seating, but once the first member of the wedding party walks down the aisle, please put your devices away for the procession and ceremony. A professional photographer will be capturing every special moment, and we don’t want them to miss a once-in-a-lifetime shot because of a phone in the aisle. We promise to share the photos with everyone after the wedding!
