The venue is both indoors and outdoors, with the majority of the events being indoors. It's closing in on December so it may be cold(ish- who knows its AZ) and we recommend having a coat, especially if you want to relax on the observation deck throughout the evening.
Yes, the theme is "Our Favorite Things" and we will have several elements of our favorite things as a couple and family to share with you throughout the night. Everything from AZ wine tasting to tacos to games will be incorporated throughout the evening.
Blush, Navy, and Rose Gold.
Do you even need me to answer that question? OF COURSE! However, we do ask that everyone drink responsibly and have a designated driver or Uber/Lyft pre-planned for after the reception. We just want everyone to be safe. We will be providing beer, wine, cider and some specialty drinks.
Not exactly, there are children (including ours) who will be in attendance, however we are still having a pretty wild reception party geared towards the adults, and don't plan to tone it down for the kids. Also, this potentially wild party is a great chance to take advantage of a fun date night for mom and dad, and most of the guests will be doing just that.
Wedding formal/semi-formal, or cocktail attire. It's a chance to get a bit dressed up and enjoy the evening. However, its not black tie so no need to rent a tux or relive your prom days.
We are asking everyone to keep the ceremony unplugged, and keep cameras and cell phones put away until the cocktail hour. This way everyone can be in the moment and enjoy the ceremony. Plus our photographers can take pictures without worrying about guest cameras in the shots or blocking the way. We do welcome everyone to use their cameras and phones to document the reception, and we will provide a selfie station and hashtag to help share those photos.
We are asking everyone RSVP by November 9th to ensure we have plenty of time to organize... well everything! Thank you!
No, they are very close by, but two different buildings. The McDowell Mountain Center is also the HOA offices if you need to look it up on google. We also have the exact address linked on the events/schedule page.
You are correct. Why change a good thing?
No, all alcoholic (beer, wine, cider, wine punch, Limoncello) and nonalcoholic drinks will be provided. We will have some service staff helping out so if you are so inclined you are welcome to tip them, but the drinks will be complementary and flowing.
