Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is limited at the venue and will be reserved for the wedding party and designated individuals. All other guests must utilize the shuttles provided by The Santa Cruz Experience. The designated shuttle pickup location is the Hilton Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley and St. Peter & St. Paul Orthodox Church Parking Lot. More information is available on the "Travel" page.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

A shuttle will be available for transportation between the hotel and the venue, courtesy of The Santa Cruz Experience. The shuttles will operate from 1:00pm – 2:45 pm and 8:00pm – 10:00pm. More information is available on the "Travel" page.

What is the address for the venue?

Answer

The venue will be the Sequoia Retreat Center (https://www.sequoiaretreatcenter.com/) at 11445 Alba Rd, Ben Lomond, CA 95005. More photos of the venue can be found on Instagram, @sequoiaretreatcenter.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in an outdoor lawn area. The path to and from the parking/shuttle drop-off area is gravel. Please remember this when planning footwear, as certain shoes/heels (i.e., stilettos) may not be ideal for the venue.

What is the average temperature for the venue?

Answer

The temperature at the venue will be from 45 to 65 degrees Fahrenheit. There will be propane heaters, a firepit, and the evening celebration will be indoors.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by January 12th. If you're using the Hilton Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley discount code (BMWEDD) for your booking, please ensure it's completed by January 15th.

Is there a block reservation for hotel accommodations?

Answer

Certainly! We have secured a block of rooms at the Hilton Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley. Use the discount code BMWEDD when booking to avail of the special rate. Make sure to reserve your room by January 15th to take advantage of the discounted rate.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we would like to inform you that the wedding is primarily an adults-only event, we gladly welcome the children of immediate family members. If you have any questions or specific circumstances regarding children attending, we kindly request that you contact us directly to discuss them on a case-by-case basis.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully request our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation.
