We met on OK Cupid as a matter of combination of trial and error, a bit of stalking, coercion from friends and coworkers, and sometimes a curiosity to see how the kids are meeting up these days. It was also a time when we both perhaps started to give up on the idea of "True Love." We were both intimidated by the fact that we had clashing styles and sometimes beliefs. Though this has made for our own great love story learning to love all the eccentricities of each others' lives. Through bonding over the fact that we were both parents and the trials and tribulations of some rocky past relationships we have learned to love each other unconditionally. We both drive each other mad at times and we fight like the world will end at moments but the one thing that is always constant is that we love each other. There is not a day or a moment in our lives now that we could stand being truly separated. From spending all our free time on Facetime, whether it's one of us watching the other sleep because of the time difference, or just having it on knowing that the other is there living their life but being able to turn and look, or just listen to the sound of the just being. This is our life whether it's exciting or boring doesn't matter. It's love, and along with our sons, the one that will be living with us, or the one that we will be waiting for. This is a love for the ages....
