Category is...Wedding extravaganza!

Hinge app for the win! We both had been single for several years and were tired of dating guys that weren't interested in anything of substance. When we matched, we intentionally took things slow so we could actually know each other and our hopes and dreams etc. We talked or over a month before we met. I think we had like 5 dates in a week and Drew met Bryan's closest friends almost by accident in that first week. I think they all knew that we would end up here from the get. We continued dating and fell in love more and more. We met each other's parents and friends and just enjoyed each other. We had our first weekend trip away in May of 2023 to see some Broadway shows. Bryan got sick the first day, but we made the best of it, and it was a great time and a learning experience. We saw concerts of some of our favorite artists over the last couple years. We became binge watchers of some great shows, and it reflects in our daily lives ha! We have watched and helped each other succeed in our jobs and started really thinking about our future. Bryan had been married before and made it pretty clear that he would like to be proposed to. Drew bought a house in May of 2024 and Bryan moved in in October of the same year. We had pretty much decided at that point that we were going the distance with this thing and Bryan bought a ring a few weeks after the move. Bryan went into full anxiety mode with planning the perfect proposal. It helped that he had asked to be proposed to so Drew really had no idea it was coming. Bryan was turning 40 the next April and he planned a private dinner with our closest friends at the General Warren Inn right by our house. Bryan got up to give a speech for his birthday and quickly turned it into a thank you to Drew for all the love and support and joy he has given. Next thing you know, Bryan was on his knee asking Drew to marry him. Drew was beyond shocked but still managed to say "Yes!" wholeheartedly. Aaaaand here we are! Planning a wedding! What is our life? We are so excited to figure out all the details and prepare to share our incredible day with everyone!
