The year is 2020, and Bry has just applied to the Disney College Program in Florida. The COVID-19 pandemic strikes, and the program ends up canceled- crushing her chance to join before she's even offered a spot. She reapplies in 2022 when things open back up and is accepted, assigned to work in Animal Kingdom Outdoor Vending starting in August. Also 2022, Jess applies for the DCP and is accepted to start in Animal Kingdom Outdoor Vending in February of 2023. The two of them cross paths for the first time while Jess is training, and they later come to realize they are neighbors in their apartment complex. They start growing closer, spending time both in and out of the Disney parks. Even as they become great friends, Jess remains clueless that Bry is falling hard for them. The confession eventually comes, and despite Jess's utter cluelessness, the two start dating. Through thick and thin, Bry and Jess stuck together. Originally from New Jersey, Bry didn't hesitate to move across the country to Jess's hometown in Oregon when their father fell ill. The two were able to witness Jess's sister get married, and that is where Bry promised Jess's father she would take care of them no matter what. Before Sean ended up passing in March of 2024, Bry and Jess were officially wed by him on February 22nd of that same year. Since then, the two have been happily living with their two cats- Nyx and Obi- and preparing for their future together.
