Have you ever thought about what life would be like if you didn't do something as miniscule as liking a post? I think about this every so often, mainly because the reason Bryan and I became friends in the first place was because I liked his tweet that read: "who wants to be apart of the greatest GM ever." Next thing I know, I'm added to a group message which we talked in for months, and that's eventually how I became friends with Bryan. Eventually, best friends turned to soulmates, which turned to me not being able to imagine walking down the aisle to anyone else. Bryan is one of the most selfless human beings I have ever met. At 16, I knew then what has been solidified to me now: Bryan will make the best husband and an even better father. Now here we are, almost 9 years later, and all of my wildest dreams are coming true. I am so excited to be marrying my best friend and elated to celebrate with all of you. Since that fateful day I've been growing up with my person, and I can't imagine life if I didn't like that post.
People remember 2016 for a lot of reasons. For me, it was the year I met my best friend and partner in life. What started as an unlikely group of friends chatting on Twitter seamlessly led to my friendship with Ariana. It quickly became clear how much we had in common. But what was even more obvious was how well she complemented me in all facets of life. Ariana was—and still is—decisive, ambitious, and driven. She gave me direction in life and pushed me to be my best. She still does. It wasn't until I met Ariana that I dreamt about what the future could be like. Even as teenagers, we had our big dreams and goals. We always knew we would enjoy life together, but with every new phase—through college, law school, and now the working life—we have more and more fun building our life. Now, almost nine years later, we get to enter the next phase of our life with all of you: the friends and family who have been there with us through it all. We can't thank you all enough, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
