Berry College
Berry College is important to both Whitney and Bryan, as Whitney is a Berry alumna and Bryan will be teaching Analytical Chemistry at Berry starting this fall! Fun fact- with 27,000 acres, it is the world's largest college campus and has miles and miles of hiking trails to explore! For our second date, we actually hiked to the reservoir on mountain campus!
Broad Street
Broad Street in Rome is a fun place to explore- it's a cute downtown area with several shops and restaurants. There are several spots for lunch- Harvest Moon, John Henry's, Moe's BBQ, La Scala, Yummy Thai, Rock N Roll Sushi, Doug's Deli, Swift and Finch Coffee, Jefferson's, and Mellow Mushroom to name a few. We definitely recommend stopping in at Honeymoon Bakery for a sweet treat afterward!
