For Bryan Fisher and Vanessa Martinez, it was at the age of 34 years old when they finally found one another. Bryan was on a mission to find his wife. And as for Vanessa, after all the trials and tribulations of dating, hope was wearing thin. One night after a long 12 hour shift in the ER, Vanessa decided to give an online dating app called Bumble a try. She saw Bryan's face and thought, "Wow, what a handsome guy." She liked that he had pictures with his family and one of him wearing Mickey Mouse ears. So, she decided to swipe right (which meant she liked him). Bryan liked Vanessa's profile with her stunning good looks and her witty bio, so he swiped right, too!! Vanessa messaged Bryan, saying "Hi, Bryan, I just wanted to say hi before the timer ran out"...that was the best, last minute decision of her life :) ***CONTEXT ABOUT BUMBLE*** For those who are unfamiliar with the app: 1. The woman has to initiate the conversation, even if they've both matched. 2. There is a 24 hour time limit to initiate the conversation 3. Vanessa waited until the last 15 minutes They matched on a Sunday, met that next Wednesday and were officially a couple by that Saturday (that's only 6 days for those of you counting)! By date three they knew their connection was something really special. Later that night, Vanessa had already deleted all the dating apps on her phone, not long after Bryan text her "So, what do you think about deleting the dating apps and making this official?" to which she replied, "I already did!" Saturday, 2/16/19 they were officially a couple and the rest is history . In that first year together they learned so much about one another. Vanessa loved that Bryan was such an amazing communicator and really made her feel like a queen, not to mention they were both foodies! Bryan fell in love with Vanessa's beauty, inside and out. They traveled together, spent endless hours with each others families/friends and on 2/1/20 they got engaged!
