Note: We have changed the location of the hike, so if you see any referenced to Old Rag, please note that we are no longer hiking Old Rag Mountain. Join us on Saturday, November 9 for a hike to High Rock Overlook! We have A LOT of RSVPs (over 30!) and are so surprised and overwhelmed by how many of y’all want to spend your weekend with us! On the day of the hike, please bear with us and everyone else as we manage getting such a large number of people up the mountain. You will not be missing out on the “real” wedding by not attending the hike. This is just a hike! If you like hiking, great! But we put a lot of effort into planning the event on Sunday and want to see as many of our friends there as possible who are ready to dance and have a good time and not be sad and sore.

Date: November 9, 2024 Time: We will meet at 9:00 a.m., and will start the hike at 9:15. If you arrive late, just hop on the trail and we’ll see you at the end. Location: We will meet at the trailhead here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/u63XUjUHVpU4R4aTA There is no parking lot, but there is parking along the side of the road. Space is limited and it’s a holiday weekend, so carpooling is recommended for this many people. The hike is about 6.4 miles out and back. We will be hiking north from the parking area. What you need: Appropriate footwear, water, snacks, and the thrill for adventure. Electrolytes if needed, and Ibuprofen for our friends over 30. The overlook is well known for its graffiti art, so bring spray paint and leave your mark with us!
