We met while Bryan & Nancy worked at a grocery store in CA. We didn't communicate for the first 4 months even though we worked 15 yards from each-other (Bryan was asserting dominance). Eventually, we went to an amusement park with co-workers and Nancy obviously couldn't resist the inappropriate sense of humor. Bryan then courted her like a true professional. There has been serious debate over the years on our actual anniversary with no luck in locking one down. So we look forward to having a permanent non-negotiable date of July 8th moving forward!
Over the years, we have been blessed to grow in so many ways. We purchased our first home during 2020 in Costa Mesa, CA. Nancy has created it into a warm and comfortable place for us to live & Love. We were able to get our baby boy puppy Columbo during 2020! He has been a blessing in our lives and runs the house!
We have always loved long weekends away in the mountains or at the beach. Bryan took Nancy & Columbo up to Big Bear Lake for a vacation. They traveled up a fire road to the very remote Bluff Lake Nature Reserve (Picture below) (Nancy made a few comments about Bryan killing her there), where they went for a walk along the meadow/lake. Halfway through the stroll the bugs were so bad that Nancy wanted to leave so the mission was almost aborted, but we powered through. Bryan planned a photo shoot and surprised Nancy with the proposal. He got down on one knee and asked her to be his other half forever. Nancy's first words were a few expletives but Bryan is fairly confident he heard a "yes" afterwards. We spent the rest of the day hanging out by the fire and enjoying being engaged.
