We ELOPED!

Back in early 2020, Bryan and I lived VERY different lives. Bryan lived all the way in the Philippines with no plans to move back to the US any time soon and I (Massiel), lived all the way in Los Angeles, California. Covid happened. Well, Bryan decided to move back to Dallas and start a whole new career. On my end, God gave me instructions to move to Texas and a month later I packed up my car and moved to Dallas… no family, no friends, no job, no apartment, just God. How we collided! Mid 2022 Bryan was FORCED by his friends to get on a dating app (thank you, friends!) On January 2023, through a prophet, God told Massiel: “Get ready to love again, The Lord said he is sending your husband… do not be afraid, He is a man that is going to love you and take great care of you…” On February 11th, another confirmation. On February 14th, 2023… God wakes me up with the word “Hinge”. In my mind, I had no idea what a hinge was, maybe a door thingy. BUT in my spirit, I knew it was some type of app. When I fully woke up I got on my phone and googled the word Hinge, and found out it was a dating site that I had never heard of. I was 29 years old at the time and I HAD NEVER BEEN ON A DATING APP a day in my life! Throughout the day I felt like God was leading me to create an account on Hinge. I was like “SERIOUSLY?! On Valentine's day?!!! OMG!!!! NOOOOOO!!! Lol Anyways, out of obedience, I created my profile on Hinge while I was getting ready to leave the country for a whole month the next day. This is where you should scream: WITHIN 24 HOURS of ever being on a dating site, I found the LOVE of my life! Bryan saw my profile, I liked his pictures and we were a match made in heaven. When we connected I was already at the airport and boarding my flight… sooo we talked and video-called for a whole month before our first date. During our conversations, we found out WE GO TO THE SAME CHURCH, and we never saw each other. … and many other coincidences that would make this too long. Our first date was on March 16th… AND we saw each other almost every day after we met. By April we were already boyfriend and girlfriend. INTENTIONALITY 🤌🏼. Lola, his baby dog, accepted me and welcomed me too. 🐶❤️ He introduced me to his family a couple of months later and he flew to the Dominican Republic to meet my family some months later. THEN a year-ish later, He proposed on my birthday in the Dominican Republic. Long story short, since we met, it has been the most amazing relationship, full of love and gratefulness for each other.
