Yes! Our dress code is Indian or Western "cocktail attire". For Western attire in the late summer in the Boston area we suggest: mid length dresses, elegant separates, sport coats & pants or suits:) For Indian attire, we suggest sarees, lehengas, salwar kameez, and kurtas! Please wear what you feel most comfortable, confident, and festive in--and what you can tear up the dance floor in!
We love your significant others, but we ask that only those included on the invitation attend.
We will have vegetarian and celiac/ gluten-free friendly options, but if you have additional dietary restrictions or allergies, please reach out to us! The reception dinner will be buffet style; we want to be mindful of cross-contamination for our friends with dietary restrictions, so please let us know if we can help make sure your meal is not cross-contaminated!
Sadly due to space restraints, we are not able to accommodate children at this time and ask that only children with their name on an invitation attend. We appreciate your understanding! Parents, we hope this evening can be a fun night out, but if finding childcare is an issue, please reach out:)
Yes! Please see the "Travel" section of our website for hotel recommendations and information regarding hotel blocks. If you are booking for more than Friday and/ or Saturday night, you are still eligible for the group rate, but you may not be able to book the group rate for all dates on the website! Feel free to call the hotel directly or let us know, and we can help you get the group rate for the entirety of your stay:)
Yes! For the ceremony, there is a small parking lot behind the church as well as ample street parking on Main Street. For the cocktail hour and reception, you CANNOT park in the lot attached to the museum! This is reserved for residents in the complex attached to the museum. We recommend instead that you park at the Embassy Public Car Park (14R Pine St, Waltham, MA) which is a 2 minute walk from the museum. Signage will guide you from this parking garage across a short, scenic footbridge to the museum! If needed, you can also park in the Embassy Public Parking Garage (42 Cooper St), the Carter Street Lot, (3 Carter St), or the Crescent Street Parking Lot (24 Crescent St) which are all a short walk from the museum. Parking in these lots is $1/hour ($6/day), and all parking in the lots is free after 6pm! There is also some street parking near the museum. The church is about a 12 minute walk from the museum too if you choose to park at one spot for the whole evening. Guests requiring an accessible entrance to the museum can be dropped off at the museum parking lot for an accessible entrance, but then the car sadly must be moved to one of the previously listed lots. There is also an accessible entrance to the church.
