What city should we fly into?
Answer
You will want to fly into Gdansk. If you fly into Warsaw you will have to take an additional 3 hour train ride to Gdansk.

How long is a flight to Gdańsk from the US?
Answer
From the East Coast, you will typically take a plane across the Atlantic Ocean. This takes about 6-8 hours. You will have a layover somewhere in Europe and then take another plane to Poland, which takes about 2 hours.

How long is a traditional Polish wedding?/Jak długo będzie trwało wesele?
Answer
The party goes from 6 pm until 4 am, with traditional Polish wedding games at midnight. Zabawa będzie trwać do 4 nad ranem.

How to get around Poland?
Answer
If you plan to rent a car, you will need an international driver's licence. Don't worry though, you can use trains, buses and trams. Public transport is well developed in Poland. In bigger cities you can also use Uber.

It's a formal event, so nice suits and cocktail dresses will work great.

There are many beautiful places that you can visit. There are also other airports, so if you want to sightsee, you can easily venture further into the country and fly back to the US from there.

Is the accomodation provided?/Czy jest zapewniony nocleg po weselu?
Answer
We provide the accomodation for the night of the wedding (May 27) in Hotel Smart located 5 minutes away from Stary Maneż. The hotel provides breakfast if you would like to purchase it the next morning. Parking is also available at a fee at the hotel parking lot. Tak, zapewniamy gościom pokoje w hotelu Smart, znajdującym się 5 minut piechotą od Starego Maneżu. W hotelu istnieje dodatkowo możliwość wykupienia śniadania i parkingu (chociaż można też opłacić parking w parkomacie).

What to expect at the afterparty?
Answer
It is an additional time we can all spend together after the wedding, with food and even dancing, if you're still able :) The dresscode for that day is more business casual.

What type of sockets are in Poland?
Answer
Poland uses sockets type C and type E (different than in the US). So be sure to have a travel adapter.

I want to stay longer in hotel Smart. How do I do it, so I don't have to switch rooms in the middle of my stay?

Transport
Answer
There will be a coach picking guests up from hotel Smart at 1 p.m. on May 27. It will take you briefly to Ju's house and then to the church. After the wedding it will take you back to hotel Smart, where you can check in or refresh before walking to the wedding venue. Remember that it is illegal to drink in public transport.

Autokar zostanie podstawiony pod hotel Smart w Garnizonie w Gdańsku Wrzeszczu 27 maja o 13:00. Zabierze gości na moment do domu Justyny, a potem do kościoła. Po mszy zabierze gości z powrotem pod hotel Smart, gdzie będzie można się zameldować przed udaniem się do Starego Maneżu.

13:00 - the shuttle takes guests from hotel Smart in Gdańsk to Tczew. There will be a 15-minute stop at Justyna's house to pick up more guests. Feel free to take a look at the river at that time. Then the shuttle will take you to the church. 15:00 - the wedding 16:00 - pictures and gift giving in front of the church 16:30 or so - shuttle back to hotel Smart in Gdańsk Check in at the hotel 18:00 - reception at Stary Maneż
