Bryan and Jacklyn met in 2019 through mutual friends. Shortly after Jacklyn moved to Detroit for work as a nurse, they went on their first date on Valentine’s Day. Not long after, their nights out became nights spent on FaceTime due to the pandemic. One of Jacklyn’s favorite “dates” was when Bryan made her and her roommate breakfast on their back deck using an extension cord and a griddle while they watched and laughed from inside the kitchen. Despite the challenges, they quickly fell in love. Fast-forward, Bryan and Jacklyn live together in their favorite neighborhood of Ferndale with their two pups, Baby and Arlo, who they adore. Bryan proposed on September 3rd, 2022 at Jacklyn’s cottage in Crystal, MI surrounded by her family. They are excitedly awaiting their wedding day on August 26th, 2023, and celebrating their love with their friends and family.
