In 2018, after accepting a new job, Bryan moved back to his hometown of good ole’ Gloversville. He began frequenting Mohawk Harvest Co-op, where Gianna was manager (at first, he was just the chatty customer who kept distracting her staff). Weeks later, after officially meeting through a mutual friend and spending a few weekends together as a group, Gianna became captivated by Bryan's generosity, goofiness, and all-around good nature. After those first group hang-outs, Gianna decided it was time to ask Bryan out. And you better believe he was thrilled when he received a message asking if he would like to join her for a bike ride sometime. They pedaled their bikes up hills and around bends to one of Gianna’s favorite spots, and Bryan worked up a sweat as his cross-bike tires tried to keep up with Gianna’s road bike. Eventually ending at a fresh water spring, they cooled off and rehydrated, enjoying a beautiful, sunny July day. A little over two years and one amazing scavenger hunt later, Bryan knelt down on one knee at the same fresh water spring on a sunny September day, opened his handmade wooden box, and offered his heart (and a beautiful ring) to Gianna. A few months later, after deliberating on wedding plans, they chose to have a very small living room ceremony in December of 2020. Now, they are so excited to finally have a big celebration with all the people they love!
