Erika and Mari first met on the California Country scene in 2013 where they bonded over their love for line-dancing and country music. They became fast friends and would go line-dancing with a group of friends every single Thursday for a couple of years. In 2016, Mari would introduce Erika to her high-school friend, Bryan, during one of their annual trips to the Stagecoach Country Music Festival. She thought they would be the perfect match, even if the two of them didn't know it at the time. We love Mari for her huge heart, her self-confidence, her ability to lift those up around her, and for her self-less courage. She is the definition of "life of the party"!
Nicole Carroll
Maid of Honor
Nicole is Erika's older sister and the one who spent countless hours dialing in to radio-shows to try to win them N*SYNC tickets when they were 8 and 10 years old. From practically growing up at Disneyland, to ice-skating, synchronized swimming competitions and Revolutionary War Reenactments, these sisters share a common love for history, travel and Disney. The bride is so proud of her sister for everything she has accomplished in her career and for landing her dream-job as an archivist for Walt Disney Archives.
Alyssa Santos
Best Matron
Alyssa is Bryan’s older sister and best friend from day one. Being only 18 months apart in age, they were able to share in many of life's biggest moments. As the older sister, she knew how to remind Bryan to stay humble (like painting his finger and toenails in his sleep) and when to lift him up ( by telling every fraternity/sorority member at CSULB, on stage that he was her hero). The two have shared more tears from laughing with each other for hours in the car, than tears of anger or frustration. Bryan is proud to have her by his side as Best Matron as he marries the love of his life, as he was by hers at her own wedding.
Regina Carroll
Chaos Coordinator
Regina is Erika's sister-in-law (married to her younger brother, Kevin) and she is the most savvy style-guru artist you can ever meet. She has an infectious personality and you feel like you have known her your entire life within the first 5 minutes of meeting her. She is going to be in charge of the day-of decorating and will help us coordinate the chaos on the big day. Run the chaos, Regina! Run!
