We're Eloping!

June 2020 It was in a music rehearsal studio where they first saw each other. They weren't expecting to meet anyone new that day. Bryan wished he'd known about the cute woman joining the rehearsal so he wouldn't have been dressed too relaxed and Destynee was surprised by the natural comfort she felt with the stranger. They developed a friendship centering their shared love of music while they prepared for their first performance as a band. During Long band meetings via WhatsApp, rehearsals twice a week, and car rides from Long Island to Brooklyn they got to know each other. During meetings they'd laugh as they got side tracked by jokes and stories and during car rides they'd freely share their playlists unafraid of the ways their music tastes merged and diverged. it was a freeing friendship that they didn't feel the need to dress up or hide any parts of themselves. The friendship grew from there. May 2021 Over a conversation through text, Destynee coyly shared that she was crushing on Bryan. To his surprise he was glad to see that his feelings weren't one sided and a few days after confessing their feelings they went on their first date at Prospect Park. June 2021 Bryan asked Destynee to be his girlfriend and she said yes! June 2025 Bryan worked with his brother and Destynee's sister to plan a surprise proposal. December 2025 They will hold a small court ceremony and celebrate with family and friends with an intimate dinner.
