We met through Jade and Derrick Hudson in April 2023, who introduced us because we had similar interests and career paths. Through talking for several weeks, we started to grow very fond of each other. We could not go a day without striking up hilarious or deep conversation. We finally met in person in May 2023 and instantly knew we would eventually marry each other. From then on, we decided to bug, love, and worship together until death do us part.

While we were visiting in Missouri for Christmas to see Bryan's family, we went to a botanical garden to see the Christmas lights. The whole family decided to go see the lights as well, which was exciting and festive. Once we both got to a huge tree full of pretty white lights, Bryan tried to fool me into doing a picture with my back against his. Once I turned around, I saw him on one knee with the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. He asked me to marry him, but I was so shocked that he surprised me. It took me a second to register what was happening. Of course, I smiled and said YES! All of the family started cheering and hugging the both of us. Even strangers in the garden were cheering and congratulating us. It was truly a beautiful night!
