Hiking, biking, zip lining, rafting and more!
Even if you can't go to a show, it's awesome hiking!
This is one of our favorite hikes in Colorado. It's just 30 min from Denver and feels so remote. It's a moderate hike, you can do anywhere from 2-6 miles on a loop.
If you can't make it out to Maroon Bells, Guanella is about an hour drive on I-70. You can stop in Georgetown for a bite and drive up the pass (although sometimes it closes at the end of September, just depends on the snowfall in the pass).
About 2 hours from Denver in Estes, CO this is a stunning and beautiful park. We know of an amazing bed and breakfast we can recommend if you want to make it a long weekend!
See the house of the unsinkable Molly Brown in the first state to give women the right to vote!
If you’re looking to spend your vacation shopping, dining, and enjoying several entertainment venues, then there’s no better place to do it than Historic Olde Town Arvada. The heart of the city is a wonderful combination of modern-day amenities and historic charm - giving you the best of both worlds. There are over a hundred boutique shops and restaurants in this vibrant neighborhood and you’ll be able to find everything from one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry to unique designer wear.
If you've got kids this is a great indoor activity!
One of our favorite local distilleries with great tours. You get a free shot glass!
Another great distillery. Small but incredible whiskey and great tours.
This is one of Ash's favorite breweries! Take a quick hike in Golden and visit their celiac friendly brewery. It's a woman-owned company and only one of three 100% GF breweries in the US!
RiNo is the perfect area for a pub crawl -- you can also add in some distilleries and cideries too! Stem has some great (dry) ciders. Try the salted cucumber if it's still on tap!
It has something for everyone! Wine, beer, kombucha, cider and some yummy food.
There's also one in our neighborhood in Olde Town Arvada. Come visit!
For those who want to visit a winery!
Amazing Mediterranean / Israeli food at the Source hotel
Definitely our favorite restaurant. There's also one on 17th Street in Denver. Try the brussel sprouts!
A quirky, fusion restaurant that used to be a mortuary. Be sure to stop by Little Man Ice Cream for dessert!
