Bryan and Alicyn met at their church small group in 2024. While Bryan didn’t waste much time showing his interest, Alicyn’s affection for him grew steadily as she got to know him and witnessed his patience, kindness, and steadfast character. Since then, they have shared countless adventures together, including hiking trails, sunrise views, and movie marathons featuring The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. Along the way, they’ve also consumed impressive amounts of ice cream and orange chicken. On April 18, 2026, during a sunrise hike in Sedona, Bryan asked Alicyn to marry him. Surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation, it was a meaningful moment in a place they loved, and Alicyn joyfully said yes.
