This restaurant is a bit further out from the hotels, you can walk to it however you may want to get a taxi if you are dressed up. We ate here a few years ago and in our honest opinion this is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to (seriously). All the food is incredible but the tasting menu is especially impressive. If you want to have a fancy dinner we can't recommend this highly enough. Reservations highly recommended. $$$
Only about a 5-10 minute walk from either hotel. This place has incredible food and cocktails. If you are looking for a great lunch or dinner this is a great choice. Reservation highly recommended. $$
This restaurant specializes in traditional Yucatecan cuisine. FYI, at 3:00pm daily they dig up a traditional Cochinita Pibil and you can be there to try it. Strongly recommend this. $$
Located on the north side of Plaza Principal de Merida, this restaurant has an outdoor terrace with a great view of the plaza, especially at sunset. $$
A restaurant that specializes in anything grilled, But the entire Menu is beautifully crafted to show off Mexican food in a more elevated experience. Must have the grilled octopus. Reservation recommended. $$
Great cocktail bar with a big outdoor patio. This is one of the oldest cantinas in Merida. FYI this place can get busy later in the evening, but its definitely a good time!
If you like Mezcal this place is for you. Live music and if you go on the right night there is even salsa dancing lessons.
There are two locations pretty close by to each other. This is a great place to get some tasty lunch, highly recommend the Molcajete, its their specialty. If you're just looking for a drink, they make some of the best Margaritas in town.
