Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

The plan is for the ceremony to take place on Fort Lauderdale Beach- A1A between Auramar & Belmar ST. Immediately following the ceremony, it will be about a 5 minute walk, give or take, to the reception, which is located behind the Atlantic Hotel & Spa.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are on Fort Lauderdale beach so the parking can be a hit a or miss. There is plenty of parking available- mostly paid parking unless you get lucky so please take parking time into consideration or of course consider using an alternative like Uber if needed.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Generally, in January, you can expect pleasant, mild winter weather with average highs in the low to mid-70s Fahrenheit and lows in the upper 50s. Pack for warm, sunny days, but also bring some warmer layers for evenings, as temperatures can cool down after dark.

What if it rains?

Answer

The hope is that we will have nothing but blue skies and sunshine, however, Florida weather can be unpredictable. If it does rain, the ceremony will no longer take place on the beach but instead will be held at the venue- all dates and times should remain as is.
