We met at a work event in San Diego. Super professional. Very corporate. Zero chance of romance… right? Wrong. A mutual friend said, “You’re going to like him.” What they failed to mention was that he’d show up in a full khaki outfit — shirt, pants, belt, shoes. All brown. All confident. And somehow… it did it for me. There was a spark — subtle, but strong. The timing wasn’t quite right, so we started as friends. There were plenty of conversations, “waiting out the traffic” dinners, and moments where it was clear something was growing between us. Eventually, friendship turned into something more. We built a life together — one filled with love, laughter, and five incredible daughters. After seven and a half years of loving each other through everyday life, we got engaged in June 2024. It wasn’t over-the-top — just the right moment after years of showing up for each other. Now, we’re getting married in Italy — something intentional, a little adventurous, and completely unforgettable. Not just for us, but for our girls. And for you.
