We eloped on June 13, 2020 at the beautiful Kings Canyon National Park in California after a loooong hike up an actual mountain. Our wedding attire and a bottle of champagne was shoved into a backpack and we awkwardly had to do a wardrobe change among the trees. We chose the exact spot for our vows because Bri's legs simply could not walk any further, and we agreed the view of this insanely beautiful mountain valley would do just fine. Brianna's brother Justin was our officiant & his wife Hannah was our lone witness. After the ceremony & champagne, we hiked back down as a married couple! In total, we hiked 10.5 miles, up 1600 feet of elevation. Definitely something to remember & hopefully a hike that Bri won't be forced to do again for at least a few more years. :)
After cancelling/postponing our reception multiple times, we finally settled on a for real party date!! Our plans have changed so much from what we first envisioned, but we hope you can join us for this celebration! The party starts at 5pm, with dinner being served at 6pm. We would still like this to be a classy affair, so please dress accordingly in a “semi formal/dressy casual” manner. We love your kids, but would like to keep this an adults only party. Bring those dancing shoes because we WILL force you to have fun :)
