We recommend flying into Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), which is the closest international airport to Lake Como. From Milan, Lenno and the Tremezzina area are approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by car. Transportation options from the airport include private car service, taxi, or train to Como, followed by a ferry or car transfer. We recommend arriving in Italy at least one day before the wedding, on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Guests traveling from the United States should plan to depart on Wednesday, September 30, due to the overnight flight.

Private Car Service (Recommended) *The easiest option is booking a private transfer directly from Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) to your hotel in Lenno or Tremezzina. Travel time is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Train + Ferry *Guests can take a train from Milan Malpensa Airport to Como or Varenna, then take a ferry across Lake Como to reach Lenno. Rental Car *Guests may also rent a car at Milan Malpensa Airport and drive to Lake Como. Travel time is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
