Will kids be allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Kids are welcome to the ceremony (don't worry, it should be a short one!) right before the reception. However, once the ceremony wraps up, we will have an "adult only" night. Details to follow regarding childcare options during the reception.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is certainly not a black tie affair, but please still wear something fun and dressy for our special day! We want everyone to be comfortable, but just remember to leave your flip flops and cargo shorts at home. Also, please remember the venue is an average of 80ºF as it's a greenhouse but outdoor temperature will probably be 50-70 degrees, so a light removable layer is recommended.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You're welcome to start arriving at 6:30pm. Come mingle, see old friends, meet new ones and take your seat early! The ceremony will start at 7pm sharp. By the way, there is no "groom's side" or "bride's side" of the ceremony. Everyone, please sit together!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking right in front of the venue for those early arrivers. For the rest of you, please free to park across the street (both to the west of the venue and to the north).

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation should be addressed to either yourself or to you and your partner. Please abide by the invitation recipient(s) as we can only have so many guests due to the venue capacity.

How do I get to the venue if I don't have a car?

Answer

Getting to the venue is easy from anywhere in Salt Lake. For those of you staying downtown, Cactus & Tropicals is 10-15 minutes away via Uber or Lyft car service. Cost should be under $15 each way for a standard vehicle, so if you'd like to save money, pick out an SUV when selecting your pickup and carpool with other wedding guests.
